Inspired by the extraordinary life of our ancestor, rancher and trailblazer Charles Goodnight, often called the Father of the Texas Panhandle and the inspiration behind iconic film and television portrayals (Lonesome Dove, etc), this magazine carries forward the spirit of courage and innovation that shaped his story.
