MICHELANGELO VIZZINI

Q&A

GN: You began your artistic journey at a very young age, studying singing, piano, dance, and theater. How did this early multidisciplinary training shape the performer you are today?

MV: Starting so early gave me the chance to get to know myself on a deeper level. I’ve always had a clear
idea of what I wanted to do, and as a child, moving from one discipline to another without thinking
too much now feels like a gift: that variety shaped my personal way of observing emotions and turning
them into something meaningful.

GN: Acting has also been an important part of your career, with roles ranging from Tutti pazzi per amore 4 to Bro. How do you balance your passion for both music and acting?

MV: I don’t see music and acting as separate worlds—they’re just different ways of telling a story. Both are full of life and truth, and they often feed off each other. Sometimes they demand different energies, which can be challenging, but when one grows, the other grows along with it.

GN: In 2025, you are set to star in the Amazon Prime movie Love me, Love me. What excites you most about taking on a leading role in this international project?

MV: What really excites me is knowing that Love Me Love Me is already a beloved story, and that each character has been imagined and loved in their own way by millions of readers. Of course, that comes with a lot of responsibility, because Blaze already lives in people’s minds, and everyone sees him differently. And just like the title repeated twice — Love Me, Love Me — expresses that deep need to
be truly seen, I hope readers will love me as much as they love Blaze.

GN: Working with acclaimed directors such as Roger Kumble and Federico Moccia must bring unique challenges and lessons. What have you taken away from these collaborations?

MV: I think you learn far more by watching than from words alone. Every person I’ve worked with has left me something. On set, I’ve always found a sense of calm, even with very fast-paced schedules. To me, that’s where you see a great director at work: when the only thing you have to focus on is your character and his depth.

GN: Looking ahead, do you see yourself focusing more on music, acting, or continuing to develop both paths equally as part of your artistic identity?

MV: Both paths are part of me, and I want to continue pursuing them together. Unfortunately, a day only has 24 hours, and sometimes one takes precedence over the other, but my goal is to dedicate the same amount of time to both. I’d love to portray the life of a singer or take on a very intense dramatic role, something that really pushes me out of my comfort zone. I don’t know what the future holds,
but this is definitely what I want to live for.

GN: What does the term Goodnight mean to you?

MV: For me, “Goodnight” is the moment when it’s just me and my thoughts, when everything slows down and I can finally hear myself.
